I guess it's using your eyes more than your ears. I still have the Sony one installed and the Steinberg one. I might have opened them once or twice. It's about have too much stuff and being too stupid how to use them.

Go to KVR where the plugin brokers are. You can always give a license away to friends, family, or whatever.

Usually I have to watch the Reaper Blog to understand most of the updates.

Minimal Audio releases first Synth "Current" (NO DEAL)
kitekrazy1 replied to Solidos's topic in Deals
Synths are a dime a dozen. It's that shiny and new thing everyone goes for and claim it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. Sire some are great for making strange sounds but most of your EDM producers stick with Sylenth, Spire, and Serum. I guess if you want unique ones go learn Reaktor or Max4Live or even Kontakt. -
LOL. Let me reiterate. Cakewalk is free and still rocks. No such word as rocksed.
-
Part of me wants this only because it's a deal. I don't really need to collect Cherry Audio everything.

Arturia launches MiniLab 3 Alpine White Special Edition

I live in the desert where everything is dusty. If I bought one it would eventually look charcoal grey. -
I remember when CM has Computer Muzi as a free DAW.
-
This is why I avoid many Linux developers. They don't even make that easy. Sure the Linux fanboys will disagree but for some it's a waste of time. Cakewalk is free and it rocks.

(Not a deal) NI Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK1 is dead
kitekrazy1 replied to 記念パピコkinen_papico's topic in Deals
You'd be surprised at the non supported hardware from Yamaha. NI has now left the loyalty building. Sometimes I think of getting those Arturia controllers. They seem to be a loyal group. How long will it be for some stuffed shirts to buy them and only look at spreadsheets. Give Image Line some credit after buying UVI, Melda, WA, for not interfering. BTW their CEO is a former NI employee. Pro Tools Expert had an article about what if someone buys Pro Tools. They had some things to say about Izotope and NI. -
I could buy one of these with groove cash. I already have a sub but for some reason I tend to buy more from Udemy. Groove3 are usually far more polished but I tend to like the ones by Jason Allen on Udemy. As for plugin tutorials on groove3 they always use Logic which my brain can't always translate to another DAW. If they are done in Logic I only give it 3 stars. A lot depends on the plugin. The real value in Groove3 is all of the Hal Leonard material.

Funny how all of the M-Audio gear no longer has driver support past W7 and still works. While RME is expensive they don't make doorstops. -
How many LA-2As does one need?
-
Also have to install another NI Access type app. This is why I blow off a lot of these. Just give me the individual installer.

You can buy a real one for less.

APD Deal: Broadway LITES for Kontakt Player by Fable Sounds - 76% Off!

How does this fair with the EW Pop Brass? It's about the same price. -
installed........nope avoided

I'm getting too stupid to even mess with Linux.

The issue is not the products but everything outside of the that. What Komplete does best is cover drive space. Let me know when someone uses 25% of it. I have licenses dating back to it's inception. As for Izotope it will be integrated into Native Asshat.

Should be in coffeehouse and not deals. People frequent that part of the forum.
-
Exceptions are NI and Izotope. Since being taken over by one of those large company clusterfraks things are not better. Eventually that stink will work its way into the software. They are already becoming the next Magix - more frequent paid upgrades with little value attached.

That is only appealing to end users and mixing/mastering engineers. The average person doesn't even own a stereo system anymore. A lower nitrate mp3 at 128 or lower will have poor quality cranked on a stereo system. The most impressive library is the BBC Discover at 380mb and sounds excellent. Some of the favorite pianos by end users are the sample modeled oness. That also applies to the SWAM products. Modo Bass is very good and doesn't use up space. IK just might be great at sample modeling.

I've hoarded games and will wait for it to be free on Epic. Amazing that great games were made with realistic system requirements.

The best place to buy VSL libraries. Add to the cart and add your VSL email for additional discount. I got the new Synchron Smart Orchestra for about $100 with the VSL and 20% off discount.
