Yep this changed without my approval. This difference is is created that subfolder in my VST plugins folder.

Native Asses change my VST directory. If life were up to Native Access or Waves Central, I'd chose death.

Not me. Replacing drives 2 years unless it's for capacity reasons seems more of a testament of not trusting SSDs. It's not cost effective if $100 means a lot to you. My Intel drive failed in year 3 of 5 years. It wasn't write related. I have little faith in SSDs and I'd go for a 5yr. drive instead of saving $20 for a cheaper one for 3yrs.

I think of it as a gimmick.

If you are in it for free content compared to CM it's a disappointment. It doesn't have tutorial files and videos like CM.

3yr warranty = no buy. 3 stars on Newegg = no buy.

Agree. I can't see Reaper or FL making this decision. It would have been done by now by most developers. Most developers do have a subscription of some sort. If your market is relying on only professionals you are limiting resources. It's the hobbyist and small producer that keeps the market going.

This is why I don't buy anything from Tracktion.

I had the previous version and removed it. The previous version required java. With what is offered in Tracktion, FL, and other 3rd party apps this doesn't stack up to the competition.

The SW had issues with chipsets. It wouldn't run on nForce and I couldn't get it to run on Intel 900 series.
