  1. If you are on a budget this will work. https://www.newegg.com/seagate-barracuda-st2000dm008-2tb/p/N82E16822184773 Getting in on the group and trying to buy a SSD puts me over. I would have to choose one or the other. I only put my top tier samples on a SSD. (EW,VSL)
  2. My 9900K is running at 4.6ghz. I did nothing in the bios or use any other software utility to increase this speed. A ghost in the machine? This is the first k series Intel I've had.
  3. RA and Silk can be had for under $150 each when they have a sale. I'm getting sick of the proprietary players. I've had no issues with Play, VSL, or Kontakt.
  4. I agree. I have the 1.2 but I don;t want to fork that over. I'm waiting for a deal on the other Etheras.
  5. You will have to keep a lookout for that Acid Pro special. Last time I bought an additional license for 9 from B&H for $20.
  6. $60 upgrade and called loyalty. Funny.
  7. Melodyne Essential comes free with most DAWs. This is another one where I have plenty of licenses. Essentials 4 to 5 is a free upgrade. Acid Pro is the real money pit. Even at $79 that's not worth it when a new upgrade will happen in less than 18 months.
  8. The problem with having licenses of Magix software it becomes a money pit to keep up to date. Other than the recent Samplitude how many upgrades say "I gotta get this"?
  9. Another $50 and you get Samplitude. I'd go that route.
  10. Why not just use the patterns without it?
  11. Presets for a pattern generator is odd.
  12. Very pricey for some loops.

    HorNET Doln

This I think is a stand alone and not installed in your programs.
  14. The opera seems like a not must have. I pass on these since with a little time spent on programming Kontakt and Melodyne and even Live's sampler you could do this on your own.

    WD 1 TB SSD

I walked into a local Wal-Mart and they had WD Blue 500GB for $64,
  16. Doesn't sound like a trumpet or a jazz trumpet.
  17. https://www.bitsdujour.com/software/revo-uninstaller-pro/in=todays-deals-home I've had to use this to resolve software problems.
  18. Like what?
  19. That's what I thought. 2004 was only offered for my system running a 9900k.
  20. Worth it I guess.
  21. Acronis may be my best friend in this situation.
  22. No once you read the EULA. Allow only for one machine. I'd take Waves anything over this.
  23. I could see its value if it allowed one to use the full blown RX.
