  1. Did I miss something here? The crossgrade pricing was removed. I think that pretty much says for me blow this one off. Impulse purchase not happenin".
  2. I was hoping it would end. Now I may get drawn in. My chances of blowing off an IK group buy are basically zero.
  3. For me no. I have so much of their stuff I have to go to my product page just to see what I have.
  4. Not fond of this developer,
  5. https://8dio.com/instrument/supercluster/ https://8dio.com/instrument/studio-series-fire-trumpet/
  6. Did you notice their regular prices on everything is ridiculous? As for the Rigid Audio stuff they offer deals direct.
  7. Someone understands that drive space is not cheap when you have to buy it. IK's friendly licensing allows me to have it on 4 machines. If I lost a library I get it from another system. I always archive my purchases. I still have quite a few HDDs on a shelf and a drive dock. I'm a big fan of Kontakt since NI has a compression that makes file sizes smaller. The trend in all development these days is they have no regard for file size. Look at the size of some phone apps and games.
  8. E-a-s-y pass. I've rarely used my rewards. It reminds me of the NI vouchers.
  9. I think the drive space required for some products intimidate buyers. Do the Modos require a lot of space,
  10. I've had the 2010 version work despite the claim it didn't support W10. All machines have 2020 installed. If you wait the best deals come from Acronis.
  11. I was thinking about getting it but I'm a Kontakt fan boy.
  12. LOL that is stupid. I think I got almost $100 off on my Axe I/O at one. Most people forget JPs discount 30% off. Any of those MODO instruments come under $100 for cross grades.
  13. That's the first time I've ever heard that. Even the first version had some bread and butter sounds. I think it's like anything else where it's all about the end user.
  14. If find it annoying people asking for something TRacks related as a persuasion. Like what part of VI Group Buy did anyone not understand? The other group buys will eventually happen. This one though I don't think will reach its goal. These do soak up the drive space.
  15. It's not bad unless you are one of those who have very high end libraries. It is a 70gb product.
  16. I'd put Miroslav at the bottom if you have other libraries.
  17. Redundant. Most of WA stuff is designed to be user friendly.
  18. You should try it. Now they allow deauthorization. Also what needs to be updated.
  19. Edit your post. No politics. I'm looking at you!
  20. Man people getting upset over Waves plugins. I might have to go to a Linux distro forum where it's a little more peaceful.
  21. I guess some consider that a major annoyance. I have an iLok and eLicenser plugged in. Let's not forgot that many other USB peripherals. I did this before with Waves stuff. If you forgot to plug this makeshift dongle in a system yo are using you VST scans start going nuts. With their $29 stuff it was easier to buy duplicates which I have have to do with IK, Izotope, Melda, Arturia, and many others. It's not about their quality and even their old RENN stuff equals or stands out but it is one of the worst licensing schemes in the industry. I even have iLok stuff that allows for two installs and no hardware dongle needed. I think putting Waves on a USB is one of the worst arguments to buy from them.
  22. I guess it depends on your expectations. If you are in need to low latency you stick with Intel. Jim builds super duper pro rigs and I don't know what your budget is. AMD is still a budget alternative. Their CPUs come with a cooler. If you are thinking AMD I'd suggest researching outside of this forum. I'd also try to fix that error first. If Thunderbolt is in your future go with Intel.
