  1. You may want to consider dual booting windows 10 with windows 11 on the new system. I dual boot an old version of Windows 10 (Version 1703) with the regularly updated Windows 10. When I log in to the music only partition, I disconnect the internet. I also took the time to disable any background processes that are not necessary to run CakewalkX3. You would be surprised how snappy the old, less-updated version of Windows 10 is. I can tell when I switch to the other boot version how Microsoft has destroyed the performance of Windows 10 over the years. By the way, if you give Windows 11 access to the Windows 10 partition, it will keep your whole computer monitored for malware, but DO NOT allow the Windows 10 partition access to the internet. Create a common partition to access samples, plug-ins, etc..
