RD

I recently downloaded Cakewalk Next and I can't get the instruments to make any sound. I can use samples to make a track, but every time I use an instrument it remains silent when I use playback. I can hear the notes in piano roll as I place them, but not when I play it back. I've checked the note velocities and the output to master, but can't figure it out. Thanks.
