  1. Thank you for responding. However, under %AppData%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core, I only found drum maps and the export feature wasn't available. I was able to reconstruct the files from the Alesis and Yamaha files in the Sonar instrument folder. Each contained a vast listing of all their legacy devices. Was able to even add my specific patch names. And was able to import these successfully. So I'm good. Thanks again for responding.
  2. I had an old Cakewalk Sonar Artist (as well as Cakewalk by Bandlab) set up on a Windows 10 computer that is dying. So I've migrated to a new Windows 11 computer with Bandlab's Cakewalk Sonar. While I mostly use soft synths (which I've re-set up), I also still use an Alesis QSR and Yamaha TG55. I created instrument definition files for both. The problem is I can't find the specific folder they are located in. It's note in the Sonar/Instrument folder, which is a totally different list that what appears in the Preferences/Midi/Instrument folder. Nor do they appear to be in the User/Roaming folders. On both computers, I've done a general search for both (Alesis QSR/TG 55) and it comes up blank. So where are they?
