I have exactly this issue, but with Voicemeeter Banana. Not happy having to shift off Cakewalk that I finally learned to use to a decent level, and on first run I'm in an endless loop on something that never caused a problem before. Less happy than before. I know, it's free. But so was Cakewalk, and it didn't do this.
