  1. Thank you! I will follow your advice.
  2. Hello everyone. Here is my bug report: Sonar crashes when I edit automation curves. So, when copying and pasting a small section of the curve into the same track a few bars further than the copied one, Sonar crashes. When pasting a section of the curve into another track (it doesn't matter in audio or midi track, it doesn't matter in what place on the timeline) the crash does not occur. With some editing (for example, if you draw a bar or two in another place, then copy them and paste somewhere), then the crashes stop and I can again copy-paste the section I need, when pasting which Sonar crashed. And this is completely unpredictable, I mean, once the crashes started, what and how much to edit or draw to "bypass the crash". I use midi tracks, which contain nothing but curves assigned to midi CC for transmitting midi to dmx software and controlling the light, in this particular case. I don't draw any complex figures, I draw simple impulses of a quarter or a beat length, for example. I didn't observe such a problem in Cakewalk by Bandlab, it had no problems with editing, as well as no problems with audio playback with simultaneous multi-track recording and playback of midi (those same automation curves) assigned to three different midi devices, especially when automation curves are used, and not curves converted to midi events. I once read about crashes during playback due to a large number of midi events, when I encountered such a problem, it seems like it was an old program bug from the 2000s that migrated further and further into all subsequent releases of all Sonars, including Cakewalk by Bandlab. But this kind of crash occurred under fairly strict conditions: simultaneous multi-channel recording, audio playback AND playback of automation curves converted to midi events with a fairly high frame rate. But not when editing...
