  1. Greetings, First of all, I will let you know that I am not an expert and I learn as I go along. I had a computer in storage for over 10 years. It has Sonar 8. I am getting back to some old projects. I understand that Sonar is not optimal for working with videos, but since I had it started, I prefer just to finish this on Sonar 8. I have a video of me playing drums along with one of my songs. I was playing the drums along with the music from my stereo. This video was taken by a friend over 10 years ago and was recorded on an old video camera that used little video cassette tapes. Many years ago I had it converted on to a DVD. I now have the video loaded on Sonar but since the audio from the original video recording was not very good, I want to overdub the audio with the CD version of my song. I have both the video and the better CD audio loaded in Sonar and miraculously I got it synced up, but when I export video from Sonar it comes out Not synced. I did a bit of research and I read somethings about frames per second, codecs, etc. A few months ago I tried figuring it all out but it is over my head. Can anyone with patience, please help me step by step to get this audio file synced correctly to the video? A million thanks in advance
