  1. Noel, Many thanks for your for your response, I had just found out the information on THU. However although I have actually purchased the membership version of Sonar on Bandlab when I launch the program it says it is the 'evaluation version' and displays a 'Get Membership' button. When I press that button it says 'you are already a member'. So this is frustrating, I cannot access THU and I seem to just have the evaluation version. Can you assist with this, I don't want to have to go back to an older Sonar.
  2. Once again, many thanks for this, I do have my original registration and can get to the legacy site so I will try this. I will also take a look at the guitar sims you suggested. I am really grateful, your assistance is very much appreciated...
  3. Unfortunately I don't have the original Cakewalk version to install from, my laptop had a complete crash and is unusable. I was using an old version of SONAR from before the discontinuation and the transfer to Bandlab.
  4. I have just changed over from SONAR professional to the new Cakewalk SONAR after my laptop crashed. I have a number of SONAR projects created in SONAR professional which used the plugin TH3 for guitar amp effects but when I open one of those projects in the new SONAR the plug-ins are missing. Can anyone suggest how I can proceed with these old projects? Do I have to find another guitar sim plug-in and use that to replace all of the instances of tracks where I was using TH3, or is there a way to access this old plug-in? I'd be grateful for any advice. Thank you.
  5. In the new SONAR, when I export my project mix to an audio file, with the start time set at the very start of the project, the audio file that is exported misses out the first 2o seconds or so of the mix which is silent. I have set the export dialog to use 'entire mix' and 'entire project' and indeed the Start Time is 1:01:00 which is the start of the piece, but whatever I do the exported audio misses the start of the piece, it only plays from a point within the audio, which is extremely frustrating. Has anyone experienced this problem and is there a solution please? NOTE: I have found a 'workaround' if that is what you can call it. That is to insert a long set of blank time measures at the start of the project, around 10-12 measures, so that the exported audio has a long lead-in time but it at least contains the actual start of the mix. The problem with that of course is that I then had to edit the exported file to remove the blank lead in, and of course that edit will have to be done outside of SONAR.
