Larry, I was picturing a gyroscope where you wind it up, it spins for a while then slows down to a stop. The music seemed to fit that action pretty well, tho I thought the tempo should slow down even more at the end. Anyway, very creative use of different instruments. Seems like a slight glitch at 0:40? Missed beat or something. -Bjorn

Steve, Great performance! Amazing how close you came to the original song. And a great concept bringing an old Beatles' song to life with the AI images. You might try some Ken Burns style zooms and pans for added interest but just my opinion. I like this one a lot. -Bjorn

Jeff, That's a beautiful and emotional tribute to your mother. I did the same for my mom a while ago and I get all blubbery when I listen to it now and then. You might experience the same. -Bjorn

A Walk in the Woods I started this with a really short Vangelis phrase that I liked and built it up to this. I added some old movie dialog bits here and there. I like the way they sound in the music. Music for Armageddon. Didn't expect it to be so perky and with a taste of the Ventures. 🙂 Nicely done esp the xylophone (?). -Bjorn

This song has a stronger melody than others I've heard from you and maybe that's what you meant by it being a bit different? Anyway that's how I took it. Wonderful video as usual Nigel. -Bjorn

I'm always surprised how professional and radio worthy some songs can be around here and yours is right in there. Very well done! -Bjorn

I always like your lyrics. Kind of off beat sometimes but humorous, even in a sad song like this. Really like the guitar accompaniment. I think the chorus could be emphasized a bit more, maybe with more string presence, something like that. But top notch song for sure. Enjoyed it a lot. -Bjorn

Well that was completely different from what I'm used to hearing from you Steve. It did put a smile on my face and got my toes tapping. Nice choice of instruments/sounds esp that little whistle-y thing. Great job. -Bjorn

You matter. Unless you multiply yourself by the speed of light squared. Then you Energy. E=mc2 Is there a Dad joke section?

Thanks Gary. I think melodies can be like works of art. A song like Danny Boy is just as beautiful as a Van Gogh painting IMO. Thanks Treesha. Can't beat a road trip thru southwest red rocks country!

Nicely done and yes very laid back. The vocal styling shines through well. The ending is a bit abrupt. -Bjorn

Well done, Steve. I like the rather sparse backing instruments. They really bring out your unique voice and adds focus to the sad lyrics. -Bjorn

KSbavd. Old Joad, and my old friend Steve -- thanks. Appreciate you taking the time to comment. -Bjorn

Yeah maybe a little timing issue here and there but doesn't take anything away. Boy I really like the bluesy solo guitar in there. As always a great story done in the blues style. -Bjorn
