I could tell by the waveform this would be a slowly pulsing track. I like the almost hypnotic effect it has on the listener. Very well done. Enjoyed it. -Bjorn

I'm going for the update. I'm old. Can't wait around for K16.

Really liking the flute. Sounds great so good job on playing the instrument. I'm not into jazz/progressive genre but it always gets me into an upbeat mood when I hear it.

Well done, Steve. Sounds really good but would have to agree on the kick drum. There were just a couple of spots where it boomed out a bit much.

I was going for an Irish tune and I think most of the song sounds Irish. The melody is original but I always worry that I'm subconsciously plagiarizing a tune so hope that isn't the case. An earlier version had an accordion as the main instrument which was pretty good, but I changed it to violin. Maybe I should have stuck with the accordion? The backing track is NI Strummed Acoustic that doesn't have a lot of choices for 3/4 time like this tune. Wondering if the backing guitar sounds too oom-pah-pah? The title is Kilkenny, a name I found on a map of Ireland and it sounded nice. The ending didn't come out the way I wanted so will change that eventually. Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn Bolder Sounds Fiddle NI Strummed Acoustic NI Ireland flute NI Ireland Harp Omnisphere

Those whooshing bits at the beginning and throughout work well with the video. There's kind of a foreboding undercurrent that I was getting into but then the song ended. I think you should let the track evolve a bit more because it sounds really good. -Bjorn

I enjoyed listening to your song Simeon. The melody stays with you for a while afterwards (in a good way 🙂) Beautiful melody and orchestration and lyrics make for a professional production. I can see it becoming a Christmas standard in the future. Well done. -Bjorn

Lynn, nicely done video and music. The lyrics bring back sad (and good) memories. I guess we can all relate. Glad you can find the time to make music. I'm getting into a caretaking role myself so I understand priorities. Take care. -Bjorn

Very well done. Puts me in a nice mellow mood. -Bjorn -
Martin: I checked out a couple of songs on your site. Very nice! Interesting to see some well known classical pieces done with electronic instruments. I have a Tomita style Debussy Reverie on my site and I also have a song featuring Tuvan throat singers. noynekker: Thanks! Appreciate the comment.

Larry T: Thanks for listening and commenting. Xoo: What you commented on is exactly what I was thinking. The 1st third or so is pretty good (IMO) but after that I couldn't get it to transition into something more than just acceptable. After numerous versions and getting real tired of working on it, I declared it done (for now).

Promising but I didn't hear anything that really stood out like a catchy chorus or something. Also it might sound better with fewer instruments or maybe give the violin the spotlight for a while. If you're still looking for a country fiddle, Indiginus has a really nice one and it's inexpensive. Well, just one listener's take on your song. -Bjorn
