Nicely done and yes very laid back. The vocal styling shines through well. The ending is a bit abrupt. -Bjorn

Well done, Steve. I like the rather sparse backing instruments. They really bring out your unique voice and adds focus to the sad lyrics. -Bjorn

Yeah maybe a little timing issue here and there but doesn't take anything away. Boy I really like the bluesy solo guitar in there. As always a great story done in the blues style. -Bjorn

Road Trip This song had been languishing on a backup drive for years. I made a few repairs, replaced some parts and polished the fenders. Ready to hit the road now. Indiginus Appalachian NI Strummed Acoustic NI Picked Nylon Omnisphere Strings Thanks for listening/commenting. -Bjorn

Here's one of those things that probably everyone knew about except me (as usual). Windows 11 machine. I have a couple of external hard drives (drives within enclosures) that I use for backing up and transferring video files and other large files. Sometimes it takes hours to back them up. I just found out that if you enable write caching on the drives then the backups are much faster, 3-4 times faster in my case. But you have to properly eject the drives when you're done with them which isn't an issue since I've always done that. Go to Device Manager -> Disk drives -> right click on drive in question -> Properties ->Policies -> select Better performance -> Enable write caching on this device

Is it lame music cartoon time again? I think "yes".

Mikael, here's the AI song from Suno that I mentioned above. Not bad. I was going for a spacy, ethereal kind of track . I like it esp the vocal. Kind of wonder though where the AI engine or whatever it's called gets the melodies and arrangements and lyrics. I'm going to take the song down in a couple of days since it's not really mine. -Bjorn

Mikael I listened to your previous post (Little Creek -nicely done!) and then this one with the added in vocalist and other additions and gotta say I'm impressed with the result. I tried Suno.com -- put in a phrase and it came back with a pretty good song including lyrics that made sense. The vocalist sounded a lot like yours. Not sure how I feel about all this but have to admit I'm impressed. -Bjorn

Great mix and I love the lyrics Daryl. We need more fun pop songs. -Bjorn

Brings back a memory of a super religious family member back in the 70s who hated the song because of the lyrics. Very well done cover, Steve. Really like the Incan (?) flute especially. -Bjorn
