2. Hey everyone, I’ve just put together a quick video tutorial on how to create and customize keyboard shortcuts in Cakewalk Sonar Free, and I wanted to share it with you all. If you're like me, you probably spend a lot of time inside the DAW, and setting up the right shortcuts can make a huge difference in how fast and efficiently you work. Why I Created This Video I’ve been using Cakewalk for a while now, and one of the best things I’ve done for my workflow is creating custom keyboard shortcuts. It saves me so much time, especially during the mixing and editing stages. I know a lot of people are just getting started with Cakewalk Sonar Free, so I wanted to make this video to show you how to set everything up, step-by-step. In this tutorial, I walk you through: How to navigate the Preferences menu and find the Keyboard Shortcuts section How to assign custom shortcuts (Keyboard and MIDI) How to identify keys already assigned to shortcuts If you're a beginner or just looking to make your setup more efficient, this should help a lot. It's not about doing anything complicated—just simple steps to make your experience in Cakewalk smoother and faster. Check It Out Here If you think this might help you, here's the full video tutorial: šŸ”— Watch the Video: How to Create Keyboard Shortcuts in Cakewalk Sonar Free I genuinely hope it’s useful. I did not know how to embed the video here, so here is my trial and error 🤐🤐 <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://youtu.be/JI0EwG1h61A" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
3. Hey Cakewalk community, I’ve been exploring an idea and wanted to get your feedback before going any further. There are tons of Cakewalk tutorials out there (many of them great), but I still see a lot of beginners struggling to actually get music made — especially when things get technical. So I’m wondering: Would personalized, 1-on-1 Cakewalk sessions (live, screen-shared, interactive) be something people would find helpful? This wouldn’t be a free tutorial — the idea is more like private Cakewalk coaching or support for those who want faster progress and tailored help with their DAW. Before I build anything, I’d love to hear from this awesome user base: Is there a need for Cakewalk beginner training that’s live and personal? Would real-time, one-on-one DAW support be worth paying for in your opinion? What’s missing from current Cakewalk learning options? I’m not promoting anything right now — just validating whether this solves a real need. Appreciate your input!
