actually, I've had the 2i2 for quite a while but JUST downloaded Cakewalk. my problem is with record latency. I've tried changing the buffer size from 256 to 128 and it didn't do anything. still searching. thanks to everyone who made a worthwhile reply.

thank you Sal. I just did that. we'll see what happens.

well, I downloaded Asio4all & suddenly cakewalk would not function. seemed like the driver wouldn't install. reverted back to what was before.

I have to split the track & delete the beginning part then slide the track over to the proper time. No clue why this is happening. anybody help?
