  1. Maybe just maybe it's like this? It just happened to me too but... A few years ago I remember reading, a warning about moving & copying stuff or messing around in the "project folders" since it might confuse Cakewalk. Maybe they solved this by not allowing any tampering with the content in the "project folders" once you've created them via Cakewalk. My solution is to save it as a new song and add "V2.1" or whatever, and let Cakewalk create a new folder with your new version of your song. That way you keep them separated & doesn't risk editing stuff associated with your original song. Sure you lose some HDD/SSD space, but I think it's worth it to stay safe. Have a nice day 👍
  2. WoW Perfect! I just want to secure the songs for the future. Freeze makes it sooo much easier to migrate the tracks to another DAW, since there's rumors about Cakewalk not being free in the future and securing the sounds I use from the TTS-1, in case it dissapears in future Cakewalk updates. Thanks again! 👍😊
  3. Hi! Got the same/similar problem and it seems to be the PC it self (Drivers? HW? USB? Memory leak?) that triggers my AKAI MPK to do it? If I shut down Cakewalk when it's happening I can still see my AKAI MPK mini sending random cc: 73 data (Attack speed) on it's display. Another possibility is that Cakewalk some how "trigger" the MPK to send data? I don't know? I re-booted my PC and it disappeared. For how long this time? If I just restart my AKAI it remains. Any solution/answer to this yet?
  4. Yeah it's quite annoying. Been using CW for a year+ now after a 30 yrs hiatus 😅 I coud see the images in the biginning of 2024 if I'm not mistaken... To be honest it's not a good idea to lower your security to see them 🙄
  5. I can confirm that the installation worked fine and TTS-1 is still there. The only hickup I had, was that I had to re-save the "Workspace layout" since it got lost for some reason (dual monitors), but the TTS-1 seems fine... It would be great if one, with ease, could convert excisting VSTi-tracks to "sound/wav tracks"!? That way it would be possible to keep the original sound in a track as a wav or whatever. With or without effects and even if you loose your VSTi. Maybe I can? But I haven't figured it out yet... I can see copyright issues with that maybe? Or why don't Roland just make a VSTi of it, or at least offer the DX version for sale? I think there might be a market for it.
  6. Thanks! I rely heavily on the TTS-1 drums so far & haven't found anything i like to replace it with. Until then I don't want to risk the TTS-1. B.R.
  7. If I install the 2024.12, will I be able to keep the TTS-1?
