Yes, I think you would get more details by asking Overloud customer center, and from the comments you've made, it does seem that it has fewer functions than the edition included in cakewalk. It's true that Overloud is currently on a sale for less than half price, so I might as well just go for the premium full version of THU. However, the file size will be heavier, and if Essential is more carefully selected and lighter in size, it does have its merits, so it's a tough decision. I would appreciate it if you could provide any other valuable opinions.

Please tell me. I used to use sonar X3producer, and now I use cakewalk bandlab and cubase pro14. I used TH2, which was made by Overloud and came with a guitar amp simulator. It was very easy to use, and has evolved further into TH3 in bandlab, and although it is a limited-function version, it is sufficient. I would like to use THU with Cubase now, but when I purchase it from Overloud, I am thinking of buying TH-U Essentials instead of the full version for now, but I would like to know how it compares to the edition versions TH2 and 3 of sonar and cakewalk bandlab and the THU Essentials released by Overloud. In other words, it would be fine if it was the same as the limited edition version of sonar and cakewalk bandlab, but I might hesitate if it had fewer functions. Simply put, I would like to know the difference between TH2 and 3 that come with sonar and cakewalk bandlab and the THU Essentials version that you can buy purely from Overloud. Thank you in advance.
