  1. Next 2025.02 is now available! What's New Audio clip editor (early access) We're excited to debut the Audio clip as an early access feature, representing the beginning of exciting audio editing capabilities to come. This release introduces slip editing for audio clips and loops, that is precise adjustment of audio start and end points within the clip. To show the Audio clip view, select a clip, then select View > Show Audio Clip, or double-click an audio clip header. Trim content in place while preserving the original clip boundaries and duration in the track view. You can swap a clip's content by dropping audio into the Audio Clip view, without disturbing the placement of the clip in the track view. The clip’s original duration will remain intact, and loop repetitions will be added/removed as needed according to the source length. This workflow allows you to audition different loops quickly in context without affecting the original clip position and length. By default, the Audio Clip view shows the clip's full waveform. Drag vertically to zoom and horizontally to scroll. Trim the start or end of a one-shot sample by dragging the left or right edge of the waveform. The trimmed area is dimmed, and will not be audible during playback. If a clip is Loop enabled, the Audio Clip view shows the loop region as a blue bar above the waveform. Specify which section of the clip to loop by dragging in the Audio Clip view time ruler, or drag the blue loop start and loop end handles. To move the loop region, hold down the CTRL (Windows) / CMD (Mac) key and drag the blue loop range to the desired location. Swap a clip’s audio content by dragging samples from the Loop Browser into the Audio Clip view. The clip’s original duration will remain intact, and loop repetitions will be added/removed as needed according to the source length. This workflow allows you to audition different loops quickly in context without affecting the original clip position and length. Note: this is phase one of the audio editor. Additional functionality will be added in upcoming releases. Loop Browser enhancements Improved performance when navigating the browser. View Pack - the ability to load the pack associated with a sample: When previewing a loop or one-shot, click the thumbnail image at the bottom of the Loop Browser to navigate to the file’s parent pack. The Loop Browser now appears by default on first launch and new projects Access to the BandLab Sounds library is now available with limited access when not signed in. Fixes Clip original tempo changes due to stretching do not undo Hang when unrolling MIDI clips over each other Unrolled loops are always the length of a single iteration on project load Audio thumbnail for follow tempo stretched clips sometimes drawn incorrectly XSampler shows region editing handles etc. when sample is missing Follow tempo unrolled loops have an incorrect audio offset in iterations after the first Only enable main input/output buses for plugins on init Project with pad controller instances that equal the number of engine threads hangs in streaming Metronome delayed when delay compensated plugins are present Export loop selection does not export past last clip Invalid error when exporting time selection Pad Controller: hang when adding instrument to pad Track template "Keys - Ambient Piano" does not work Level meters default to mono when a stereo clip is added Project art selection is broken Audio clip drawing extremely sluggish when zooming Loop Browser not open on clean install Loop Browser: previewing mono audio outputs left only Stem separation: convert files to MP3 prior to upload Rescanning fails to enable found plugins Plugin delay compensation fails to work correctly during record Audio exported through plugins is late in time Scroll defaults to Pan Unable to horizontally scroll on trackpad in XSampler
