  1. Hi, I'm using the focusrite scarlet 212. When I open cakewalk, I check the sampling rate, it is 48, which seems to be it's default. Next, I open focusrite, it's sampling rate is 44.1. So I change sample rate to 48. It reverts back to 44.1. What am I doing wrong?
  2. I've disabled and abled the 2i2 monitor, doesn't make a difference. I'm using: guitar plugged into 2i2 line 1. No amp. Just direct plug in to the 2i2. TH3 not bypassed.
  3. I'm having so many issues with Cakewalk by Bandlab and it's getting to the point I'd rather pay someone to get on zoom and walk me through some stuff. When I first downloaded the software, everything went smoothly. Yesterday, I downloaded the update. I also used an audio interface for the first time (Focusrite 2i2). Now, all of my files are missing. I can bring them up through file explorer but not directly through cakewalk. I've checked the paths, they are identical. Exporting no longer works due to buffering size whereas it did before, no issue. Sound no longer plays through computer speakers. I've checked the output settings, seems fine. There's just a whole host of issues. Anyone ever hire a tutor or someone to walk them through these issues?
  4. I have the Focusrite 2i2; trying to use a distortion effect (from TH3). Guitar plugged into Focusrite. I select the fx from TH3. However, I can only hear my clean guitar via direct monitoring; no fx. I have tried both abling and disabling monitor playback and it makes no difference. I have the "auto echo" button on for the audio track that I'm using and cakewalk is receiving the signal. I record but when I playback my recording, again, no distortion, just clean guitar. I don't get it. any help is appreciated thanks!
  5. Thanks for all the input. I have a uca222 but was concerned about the ASIO driver thing... but it sounds like consensus is that rca-to-1/4 jack is the best option if using an interface with ASIO. any suggestions as to a good interface that would have stereo 1/4 jack inputs
  6. A lot of the material I am going to be working with is on cassette. I have a decent cassette player. It has RCA outputs. Are there any audio interfaces which are compatible with cakewalk by bandlab that have RCA inputs? Any that are still in existence (being manufactured?)? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
