For synth geeks, Wrongtools has released a Kontakt synth library with Dry Big Synths sounds . 🎹 Here's a playthrough : You might think synth libraries are straightforward to create, but surprisingly, they are really not!. They’ve proven to be some of the most time-intensive projects we do. Unlike acoustic libraries, where the instruments "play themselves" naturally, synth libraries require an often boring - process of tweaking, refining, and organizing to make every patch interesting. The various synths in this library was mostly recorded through a signal chain of high-gained vintage tube compressors. You can almost feel the filaments glowing. High gained tube-equipment adds dense harmonics and lots of overtones. Another characteristic of the library, is that the synths have not been made “big” by adding effects, like reverbs and shimmer etc. (We leave that part up to you).
