I can assure you that ANY midi clip i paste does not sound. I would have done video recording of that but there are restrictions here regarding file size so i had to keep the video short. In any case, you can see in the video that all the midi plays fine when i change the synth to Roland JV-1080. It plays fine on other synths too. Its just the triton thats not playing and i'm fairly certain that its midi parameters and specs will be same as jv-1080 and other synths. Unfortunately for me, the mystery goes on !

I use korg triton plugin with my CB. If i record and play midi then it records everything perfectly, BUT IF I PASTE MIDI IT DOES NOT PLAY. I tried everything possible but no luck. Of course many will say that its a midi issue but to prove its not a midi issue i've changed to different synth and all the midi plays perfectly. I'd totally appreciate if someone could help me resolve this issue as i love the triton and plan to use it in lots of projects. Just for your info, i've been using logic pro x before and never had any issues with the triton, but now i shifted to windows and now this. I installed free steven slate drums(SSD) but its not sounding in cakewalk even though all configurations look fine and vst's are in proper folders and detected by cakewalk. Anyone else having the same issue ? bandicam 2024-10-12 21-46-47-884.mp4

Yes, it was a midi issue and here i was thinking choosing omni meant choosing ALL the midi channels. Reason i was really stumped was because i use other plugins and they just play without me changing midi channels etc. Now i know i'll have to change the channel at least for the triton. I guess this is the price i have to pay for migrating from logic pro x which has minimal midi application. In any case, i'd like to thank you for your time. I greatly appreciate it.

This issue has left me totally stumped and i feel kinda stupid asking this, but i'm hoping somebody can help. I have a triton plugin assigned to a track and i import some midi data into the track and IT DOESN'T SOUND even though its playing perfectly on the triton plugin keyboard. And here's where it gets more bizzare. I input some midi notes on the piano roll and they sound perfectly but the imported midi notes dont sound at all !
