  1. Promidi, so I added the CC72 but after some messing around I realized that was the opposite of what I needed. The release is not what I needed. I needed the initial activation of the note to not have the falloff. It doesn't matter at the end of the note. So CC75 (Envelope Decay) was the closest to achieving what I wanted. It shortened the initial drop from 10 seconds to 3 seconds if I set the Value=0 I tried CC73 (Envelope Attack) because that seemed logical in my head but that made no difference. So I might just need to stick with the CC75 value and suck up the 3 second drop in volume at the beginning. Thanks! Peace, -Al
  2. 57Gregy, yes, the same thing happens even if I draw in the note on the Piano Roll.
  3. Thanks Promidi! I'll have to see if I can figure that out. MIDI and the inner workings are not my normal usage of Cakewalk. But I appreciate the guidance. Cheers!
  4. Okay, I considered what you both said, but here is my issue. The fade that I am talking about is in relation to Synth Lead / Sine Wave. There is no natural fading after the initial slow drop. The signal is indeed constant after the initial drop/fade. As for any other events in the Piano Roll View, I don't even have to record for this issue to happen. Please watch the attached video to see what I am talking about. Watch and listen to Channel 1 on the TTS-1 instrument. And then let me know what you think. Thanks! Cakewalk_Level_Drop.mp4
  5. Howdy! I'm just trying to get my head around an issue that I am having that I am sure is pretty simple but I can't seem to fix. I am just doing some very simple synth generations and want some solid and even notes. No articulations and no variations. Just straight the whole way. I am doing my testing with the built-in Cakewalk TTS-1 instrument plugin. I don't even have a MIDI keyboard. I am just using the PC keyboard. So, what I noticed is that the generated note starts at a higher dB and then lowers and levels out after about twenty seconds. Is this a velocity issue or something else? I am questioning whether it is velocity related since I am using the PC keyboard. Anyways, can someone help me figure this out. I just want the generated note to be even without and changes in volume. What am I missing here? Thanks for the help. Cheers! Peace, -Al
