I’m looking for an efficient way to create backing tracks for my guitar practice. I like using Guitar Pro to create the MIDI and then exporting it to Cakewalk, but I’m having issues with the VST sounds after importing. What other tools or methods could I use to create backing tracks that include sheet music and MIDI? Is it better to do everything in Cakewalk?

Hi, has anyone encountered issues when importing MIDI files from Ultimate Guitar into Cakewalk? After importing, my VST sounds stop working, even though they are correctly set up. MIDI tracks created directly in Cakewalk work fine, but after importing, the MIDI doesn't play any sound, though the audio meter shows activity. Only the audio clips in my project are audible. Any solutions or tips?
