Food for thought... (maybe sacrilege on this forum) -
What's on your BLACK FRIDAY Wish List? (Not a Deal)

More so than the 'stuff' I mentioned previously - I'm hoping for things that money can't buy like everyone staying safe & healthy. Funny how things can go to hell so quickly. 3 weeks ago I shattered my collarbone in a mountain bike accident and had surgery to pin it all together again (still recuperating from that) then right afterwards half the family caught Covid (thankfully everyone was vaccinated so no one got seriously ill). So thankful that I missed that bullet, getting sick while recovering from surgery would have truly sucked. So looking forward to an uneventful BF weekend. I hope that everyone has a safe, healthy & happy BF/holiday weekend! -

Still free... GSatPlus | TBProAudio I became aware of this when watching the following video about how the SSL Fusion Drive plugin is a fail when compare to the hardware version. He compares the GSatPlus favorably to the hardware version of SSL Fusion. Interesting and enlightening video... 08:08 talks about GSatPlus 19:19 audio comparison

Unless you're familiar with the issues that the trans community has to deal with this may seem like an overreaction on Spitfire's part but it isn't. Members of the transgen community have to deal with a lot of hate, ignorance and prejudice on top trying to deal with a difficult issue. Spitfire could have (and some people argue should have) outright fired Christian, instead he's 'taking a break'. It's unfortunate that Christian has put Spitfire in this no-win situation with his tweet. I don't blame Spitfire for this. I hope to see Christian back in the scene again at some point in the near future, hopefully he'll spend some effort in the meantime to do some unbiased research to dig behind the fearmongering that various people are actively promoting.

Not trying to start anything or DIS anyone but it's those kinds of details that make deals post here at this forum a big deal.

Waiting to see if 3rd party vendors who carry this will reflect the sale price (none at the moment). BTW any have this and willing to express an opinion on it?

Might pick up Continua Virtual Analog Synthesizer been eyeing it for ages and at the discounted price...

When you click on the download link on the web page it doesn't download the plugin it sends (emails) you your redeem code. And since the web page doesn't tell you it did this - it's confusing as hell.

Wow - a new low for Spitfire... and expensive at that .

WHAT THEY DON'T HONOR 2021 COUPONS? It says valid to Dec 8th - but not which Dec 8th! ROTFL, jeez. I thought the Lite21 was a reference to $21 off (actually it would be $20 but close enough). Note to self - drink your coffee before you start posting... All that being said - there actually is a sale currently going on for Punish @$49
-
Correction Larry posted similar thread yesterday with a discount code if you have Punish Lite... Edit: Dang - the Lite21 coupon code isn't working... and I got the email from PB with the code. I just sent them an email...

Heavyocity Punish $49 instead of $199 https://heavyocity.com/product/punish/ Save $150 Edit Not seeing anything yet on 3rd party resellers sites... see next post

SSL got back to me on the 3 for 2 sale... It would be one thing if their web site said that anywhere, but it doesn't. Here's text from their web site regarding the 3 for 2 offer: Cudos to SSL support for getting back to me, must be frustrating having to tell customers that they don't intend to live up to the terms specified on their web site. Any major business would honor such discrepancies. (According to Solid State Logic: Contact Details and Business Profile SSL's revenue is $25 million / at least 126 employees - so yes they are a major business) My shopping cart contained 4 fusion plugins and splashed across the top was the link 'Have you used your 3 for 2 offer?' I emptied most of my shopping cart and may opt to not buy any, I don't like giving my business to companies that don't honor their word.

With these settings Without Auto Gain engaged Vintage Drive gave my mixes a average 3.6db boost. I found the effect of having the plugin in the master buss varied (in a blind test) from not discernable to a mild but pleasant gluing with better definition in drums. Low bass was starting to get a bit wooly which is not surprising with the plugin's settings causing the frequency response below. I didn't test it on a mix with a low sub-bass nor is my system (without subwoofers) capable of hitting those sub frequencies but could see where it might be an issue if your material did. Ending verdict for me... depends on material. On one mix I tried it on it would be a keeper, on the others not worth inserting.

... be back, doing a listening test with my ears, instead of my eyes...

Judge for yourself... Here's Vintage Drive run through DMF's PluginDoctor

Maybe not the intent, but that's not what their website says. I'm real big into if a business says I gotta follow their stated rules then they need to as well.

3 for 2 sale is still broken at least for the Fusion plugins - which are the only one's I'm interested in. I see the same things as Zo. I submitted a support ticket.

Not seeing that, all my updates installed with one click... Re Augmented series I have AS 1.2.0.2889 AV 1.1.0.2889 AGP 1.0.0.2839 maybe you missed an earlier update? Or maybe because I bought into the v9 update that included the Augmented series...
