  1. Thank you both for your suggestions. Strangely enough, when trying again a few days later the problem disappeared. I did not change anything to my PC or network, so I don't know why. But I'm happy I can use Cakewalk now.
  2. I have the exact same issue. The answer by Promidi does not solve it, as this problem is not about activating Cakewalk, but by installing it in the first place. I have tried starting the installer with and without firewall and get the exact same result as the exact same result as the OP. Does anyone know a solution?
