Many thanks for the clarification. I got caught between three support threads seemingly blaming each other! "A change in email address would require you to resubscribe using your current active email address." Aye, there's the rub. Never mind, all's well that ends well. (Two Shakespeare references in a row...)

How's this for an example of how not to provide customer service? In answer to my query with Cakewalk support as to why I had an email saying out of the blue that my Sonar/Bandlab subscription was cancelled: "Thanks for getting back to us β and no worries, we can help clear this up. First, I want to assure you that we did not cancel your membership on our end. The cancellation notice weβre seeing was triggered from your end. " Implied translation: "You're a liar or an idiot. Is there anything else I can hel[ you with?" Wow. NB: I did nothing at 'my end' except to open an email from 'Paddle' saying they were about to action my renewal via my PayPal account.

The other day I received a reminder from some outfit called 'Paddle'* reminding me my annual Sonar subscription would be up for renewal this month on the 28th, payable via PayPal. I'm happy for that to take place. But it had used an email which I will not be able to use this time next year as the provider is phasing it out. Some months ago I told Bandlab this and my account there reflects my new email. They don't seem to have a mechanism for telling Paddle this.... I emailed Paddle 'support' who said they couldn't help but would pass my query on to Bandlab. But this morning I get an email from 'Ashwin' in Cakewalk saying 'I see that you've already cancelled your membership....' WHAT?? I have replied saying this is not the case, asking where on earth he got this information from. All this because I wanted to tell Paddle about my email change.... * Paddle bot conversation: "I did not cancel my subscription!" "Ok, one moment while I process your request." "It looks like this subscription has already been cancelled. It is no longer active. Rest assured this will not renew." Come on Cakewalk, this is a poor way to treat a customer of decades. I don't want to lose access to Sonar at the end of this month.

Sonar asking for Sign-in, but Sign-in is timing out
Skyline_UK replied to Steve Moddelmog's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Same here - really important project underway!! π’π‘ I need to sign in! (17:22 here in the UK). Bakers, please at least tell us what the heck is wrong!! -
I can't remember how to bring up the track header properties table where you specify what you'd like to show or hide in audio and MIDI track headers, i.e. in the case of MIDI: Inputs, Outputs, etc. I think the items are called widgets? Somehow I can't remember and can't find a reference in the help documentation. ππ€ͺ FOUND IT! Please ignore.... π

Studio One. It's high time CW Sonar had a similar facility.

Backstage Pass and Sonar Pricing
Skyline_UK replied to norfolkmastering's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Just my 2p's worth: I hate 'subscription' business models with a passion. It's a form of intertia selling. It all started years ago with gym memberships, where it dawned on companies that young people tend not to check their bank statements (especially when they're not on paper anymore), and only realise a year after they stopped attending the gym that they laid out hundreds of pounds in direct debits. Now it's weekly recipe boxes, exercise bike regimes, pet food boxes, software, online films, and a zillion others, not to mention charities that all jumped on the bandwgon when they recruited whizz-bang marketing directors from the private sector. "Look, it's only Β£x a month, a snip." It's a personal thing with me. I won't subscribe to anything, Guitarist magazine being the exception. -
Da!

Stop giving me palpitations guys! Just when I'd resigned myself to never seeing anything new this side of Christmas 2025.... ?

I check every day. I know, I know, it'll be ready when it's ready. ?

Snap and Snap To enabled in PRV but not working?
Skyline_UK replied to Skyline_UK's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
That's what I'm getting. ? Tim, I have my snap intensity at 'Extreme'. -
I've never had this before. With snap enabled in the PRV, and 'snap to' I can drag notes to wherever I like in a current project and there is no 'tugging'! The note goes where I put the cursor and won't pull to the correct snap positon. Have I accidentally turned something else off that is affecting this?

I need to delete 250 of the wretched things. Searched the forum and the 'Filter' method doesn't work. Nor does the Event route work - they don't show in there ?!?! Any ideas?
