Cakewalk / EZDrummer 2 issue
Blue Horizon Experience replied to Rob Heflin's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I had some corrupted tracks in older projects. They just wouldn't behave properly like volume levels, routing or some synths had issues. The solution I have found is to create a new track with the same synth or and virtual instrument, fx etc. (not duplicate but from fresh start). In extreme cases even creating new project and redo/copy everything. Still consider getting EZD 3, I have really no issues with it and use it in every project multiple times. -
Cakewalk / EZDrummer 2 issue
Blue Horizon Experience replied to Rob Heflin's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
It's probably something to do with the graphic card. I use EZD 3 now only and converted old projects from EZD 2. Everything works better much more options and patterns and also visualizations rarely have any issues. It is absolutely worth the upgrade. I use a Sonar newest version as well I am not sure if you are using Cakewalk or Sonar. You might need to do the search for graphic card settings overlay etc. Best regards -
Most important laptop specs for Cakewalk
Blue Horizon Experience replied to jkoseattle's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I am very happy with Zenbook Pro Duo UX582ZW and have used it almost every day since purchased with no issues. Dual screen and lower position of keyboard, powerful processor, very quiet and reliable. After recent Sonar optimization works even better and smoother even with complex projects. -
Nu Sonar driver issue when using Discord
Blue Horizon Experience replied to Resonant Serpent's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Maybe you are you running driver mode in Sonar WASAPI exclusive. Also check "suspend audio engine when Sonar not in focus". I only run ASIO mode but in WASAPI I have encountered similar issues. -
More about plugin window size in nuSonar
Blue Horizon Experience replied to Steve Moddelmog's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Hi Steve, I have reported the issue with Izotope and few other plugins few months ago, no solution yet. I use Sonar now only in original low resolution ( no dpi awareness) and have no issue with over 1000 plugins including Izotope. Fonts seem to work better as well. Overall I am happy with new design but still waiting for developers to fix few things. Best regards. -

Thanks for excellent suggestions about deselecting. I just have assigned U to select none. Another way I deal with that is to create a tiny selection with right click lasso in empty space. Another good one in piano roll I use is Alt + F to Fit Content. Saves a lot of time when trying to see all the MIDI notes in particular place.

That is not what I accomplish here. Of course you can use full screen in the Sonar but any other plug-in windows opened will have annoying wide windows title bar. On my screen capture focus not on the Sonar background but rather the plugins that have reduced title bar size. In adobe premiere version for windows the only way you can get full screen is by using third party plugin like Windows borderless gaming app etc.

No matter what version of windows I have always disliked the size of the basic title bar on the top. It is annoying especially when you have multiple windows opened in Sonar or other software. I changed the default setting using Winaero Tweaker a long time ago. Once you install and open the tweaker just search for Window Title Bars and change it to 17px or whatever you prefer. Everything looks much better and more contemporary plus saves screen space. I hope it helps and best regards! Veetek
