  1. VST size is not controlled by the host, Sonar, so it would be determined by the resolution of your monitor and whether the VST supports scaling. You can lower the display dpi or use a zoom tool. Sonar does have a dpi setting as well. https://help.cakewalk.com/hc/en-us/articles/32482343923865-Sonar-Display-Scale
  2. Thanks for being back with all these deals Larry.
  3. Sounds like a system issue. You should first try to repair/update/reinstall your windows installation. Then I would contact one of the DAW manufacturers for help (Support@cakewalk.com) for example.
  4. You will need to provide much more information. What audio interface are you using? What driver mode (ASIO, WASAPI etc.) What does audio clip reproduction mean? Are you copying files, recording them?
  5. I answered in your other location. Best if you don't cross post the same question,.
  6. Do you see any WavesShell*.dll or *.vst3 files in any of your scan locations? My waves plugins got put in the standard VST/VST3 locations. I did not have to add the C:\Program Files locations. I think those are just "backups" of of what should be in the standard folders.
  7. Close the Automation lane. Shift+click on the green envelope in the trackview and see if you can reassign it to the volume. It looks like it got orphaned or assigned to a different envelope.
  8. A picture of what you are seeing might be of help. You mention that the browser has the synth rack at the top and the browser at the bottom? How can the browser have the syth rack in it but yet it be below it? Do you mean like this? You can drag the windows around to put them back the way you want. Below I grabbed the synth rack and dragged it on top of the browser. A blue rectangle shows me that I am going to drag it below the browser.
  9. Didn't work for me either. I don't have a focusrite device
  10. People are going to need a lot more information. What driver mode are you using (ASIO, WASAPI other) What audio interface? What video card and driver? Does the whole computer screen freeze? Other windows as well or just Sonar? Check if your video card has any driver updates.
  11. You probably can't unless you can find the uninstaller manually. You can look in Program Files or Program Files (x86) for a folder like "Phil Speiser" and see if there is an uninstaller. They usually look something like "unins000.exe",. If you can't find it then that program probably is not on your computer and the link is a left over.
  12. If your using the Universal Audio interface for your windows sound as well then you have to make sure that both Sonar and windows use the same sample rate and bit depth. Also, make sure you are not using a wrapper driver like ASiO4All but the native ASIO driver for your device.
  13. You may have to move your custom plugin-layout to wherever Sonar sees it. I haven't checked on my system yet is my custom layouts have been picked up by Sonar.
