  1. My piano download failed to install. Said it's corrupt & need to download again. Now the download will not start again... Oh well, the man said they are not ready. Will just need to be patient. It will be ready when it's ready!
  2. Looks like I squeaked through somehow... guinea pig, maybe? ? SoundPaint installed, authorized with serial number, & downloading piano now (6.3GB @ 70Mbps).
  3. Troels just announced 10 mins ago at VI-Control that they are NOT ready yet, and to please wait... https://vi-control.net/community/threads/soundpaint-new-instrument-revealed-1975-soulful-guitar.95667/page-37
  4. Check your spam. That's where I found mine...
  5. Sign up for news with your email, and receive your download link! >>> https://soundpaint.com/password (Check your spam folder, that's where mine landed...)
  6. Hey thanks! It's that doubling effect that has some folks with older PC's concerned. As in multi-tracks with the plugin could drag the PC down quickly. I'm sure it's fine in standalone with just one instance.
  7. Can you quantify "negligible" in an actual CPU percentage?
  8. I'm pretty sure that I will drop $20 for this guitar. At least as a thank you for the free host and Steinway piano. Plus the demo was very, very cool!
  9. Plus $12.99 for IK ground shipping... I priced the Dayton EMM-6 at Amazon $67.57. It's free shipping, but a few bucks more than the Mems from IK at $61 with Jammies and shipping. https://www.daytonaudio.com/product/911/emm-6-electret-measurement-microphone https://www.amazon.com/Dayton-Audio-EMM-6-Measurement-Microphone/dp/B002KI8X40#
  10. There is a sample engine that starts with samples. From Soundpaint staff comment on the YouTube video: So it appears to be some type of algorithm that enables 127 layers. So a sampled piano can feel like an acoustic piano without any noticeable bumps in the velocity, so you can play naturally. My hunch is that is is some type of morphing/spectral re-synthesis. Troels indicated that sample sizes are comparable to Kontakt. Troels also explained that you are not limited to just the octave ranges of the physical instrument, so you can go above and below the range of the original samples, in a natural way. For example he demonstrated the "1975 Soulful Guitar" being played as a bass. Per Troels comment at VI-Control:
  11. I believe the OP must have figured out his 2 bar copy and paste issue. In standard time, 8 beats = 2 bars. ?
  12. I didn't need the manual. You could have just said yes, they are beats.
  13. Just out of curiosity - back to the original question. Are those bars or beats shown on the Instacomposer timeline? If they are actually beats, then it would make sense that the OP is only getting two bars of MIDI when he drags and drops that pattern into Studio One.
  14. If not us, then that "Smokey" video certainly did...
  15. This is a valid point! In depth Q&A discussions of problems should probably be taken up elsewhere, rather than clutter up the "Deals" forum with troubleshooting. Dem deals is more importanter.
  16. Just noticed a special "ROCKTOBER" price of $29. Normally $99. https://www.ujam.com/drummer/heavy/
  17. $29 special for Rocktober! https://www.ujam.com/drummer/heavy/
  18. Thanks, but as I said, only 15 seconds to load here...
  19. Wrong. The Deals forum and Coffee House forum have never been exclusively about Cakewalk, just music related. And the only rules are no personal attacks, no politics, no religion. That's it! However, the rest of the forums are for Cakewalk topics only.
  20. I use Studio One and Cakewalk, but not Instacomposer. So I'm not able to help with the Studio One issue here. I would agree with the suggestion to try the Studio One forum for more relevant user feedback. If the drag and drop works in Cakewalk and other DAWs, then it very well may be an incompatibility with Studio One.
  21. Nice! Grabbed them. Even better than just Analog Lab, if you have V Collection you can open up the presets in the original instrument! Whoo hoo!
  22. 5 minutes? Wow! That is ridiculous... ? More like 15 seconds here... but it's still a CPU hog!
  23. You may need to check this: Windows Error Reporting (WER) can be configured so that full user-mode dumps are collected and stored locally after a user-mode application crashes. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/win32/wer/collecting-user-mode-dumps
