Thank you timboalogo & Bristol_Jonesey
I tried everything you recommended, but without success.
Perhaps less recent Play version is needed ...(version 1.4.13 is currently installed)
Hi timboalogo
I checked everything, nothing unusual, it is the right name in the vst manager, and the scan too.
East West support:
"Please make sure that Bandlab scans those locations.
Please note that the Play software hasn't received any update in over two years, and Bandlab is no longer officially supported by us"
Note that Play worked fine with my old Sonar Pro in Win 7 x64..
Windows10 x64
Hi
has anyone tried to use East West Classical Complete Composer with Cakewalk Bandlab?
The scan has correctly identified the files
VST 2 - C:\programfiles\vstplugins
VST 3 - C:\Program Files\Common Files\vst3
but Play is not in the list of instruments
(works fine in Standalone)
Thank you for help
?
In case there are 2 OS in the same partitioned hard drive (Win 7 & Win 10), that question I ask myself:
how a new DAW, we'll say Cakewalk bandlab, installed in partition Win10, is capable to scan VST in 2nd partition Win7 , way that my plugins can be used.
Best
Thank you
..I see you have Dual boot Win 7 & 10, does it work well?
I had perhaps considered to keep my old Sonar with Win 7 (but VST3 doesn't work),
and install new Cakewalk bandlab on Win 10 on an other HD..
Please tell me what you think
