@David Baay If I add to the duration of those zero duration notes (D3), it does sound better, but still not like the original. However, if I delete all those zero duration notes it sounds like it's suppose to. So good catch Dave. It was those notes giving the problem.

Just realized looking at MODO Drums mapping, those D3 notes are the right hand!!? Left hand is D1

@David BaayDo you think this is a misread by CW? Or is MODO Drums sending extra info that's not being seen by the other DAWs? That's kinda where I am right now. Who to contact! Took a look at the event list and see what your talking about. Will send something to CW and let them know.

@Lulu I am with mibby on this. Peter does come here in his official job (marketing), but he also tries to help us out if he can as a member of the forum. So try to give him the same consideration you would a fellow forum member. He just may have missed you posts. Simple.

Ah.. thanks Matt. It plays fine in Studio One for me also. Also plays as expected in Reaper. I did look for differences between the notes themselves and to me it looks as if CW is producing more notes than what appears in Studio One. I have included two pics, one in CW PR and the other in SO PR. You can clearly see the CW version has more notes in it resulting in not as 'clean' sounding drag. In between beat 1.03 and 1.04 in SO there's only one note (not counting the note slightly ahead of time on 1.04) in the first sixteenth division whereas in CW there are two. Same thing when it comes to the actual drag, more notes (before and after the drag) in CW than in the SO. @David Baay I have also included the Event List for that section shown in pic. Maybe you see something? Thanks for the replies.

That's what I thought too Dave, but I see no controller events other than the velocity and one for the foot.

It requires IKM MODO Drums. Load modo drums into a new project. Go the the 'Groove' tab in Modo Drums, select Pop/Verse/Better Verse 2 and play/preview it in Modo Drums. Notice the smooth way the snare drags are playing. Now drag that mdid into MODO Drum midi track and play it in CW. Does it sound the same? For me it does not. Something is happening when it's getting dragged into CW. I tried this with Studio 1 and it works as expected. And any of the other midi loops I have dragged from MODO Drums works fine in CW. I am just finding that one giving me trouble and I can't figure out why.

IIRC, when the PC2A came out, some were complaining about it not having side chaining, such as "In this day and age it should be standard on all new comps" type of rhetoric. As I remember when the PC2A came out it was considered a very good emulation of the original. Can't remember who had CW at that time (was it Roland?) and they soon after released the CA2A for a price. It was considered at the time an 'improvement' over the PC2A. Again this is if I am remembering correctly.

Ya'll need to get a room!!

This is from EZ BAss manual: As incredible as EZbass is as a pure virtual instrument, it is intended as a songwriting tool. Songwriting can start out in the details, but is more productive when making broad strokes that flow well together and gradually choosing finer and finer tools.

If I bought in at this level, I would get only one extra product I don't own. The only things I don't have are B3 and Sampletron. And a few sound libraries, but I am already in for them at the $49 level.

Danny just released his new album. Waiting on it to come in. Anyone interested: https://www.the-music-shop.net/ Scroll down and look for Danny Danzig name then click the buy button. I still listen to Danny's "Danziland" cd. Still get blown away by his phenomenal playing.

Yeah I went to my Crossgrade page and there is nothing there that would entice me to join this GB.

Yes I agree. Just d/l and installed today. Didn't have much time with it but I like what I have seen so far. I opened a project that I started with 2 and it loaded and played fine with the update to 3. I only looked at the Chords module but it seems to me that things are laid out more logically, intuitive. Really am looking forward to my days off so I can really spend some time with it.

Ended up being $48.01 total.

I hope we do. That's one of the reasons I paid for the upgrade. Future investment!!

This is the route I took. At least this will bring BFD back into a usable state for not much outlay. I never had the full version of BFD, only ECO. I really enjoyed the sounds and the work flow of ECO.
