Stagecraft Glitch Machine (Free - Limited Copies!)
Pat Osterday replied to MusicMan's topic in Deals
Anybody use Stagecraft stuff? I have a few things in my account that I got as freebies in the past, including this. For some reason I can't get into this dev's stuff. Sort of like Hornet. Guess I have most everything covered many times over at this point too? -
I'll just mention it one more time. Always best to wait for the Black Friday sale unless the FOMO just has you! $99 upgrade from any version of V Collection to the current one. (FX is $49 upgrade.) Usually not bad for a few new synths a year, but VC11 doesn't add enough for me to bite - still wading through X.
-
Not likely. Wait for Black Friday sales.

Usually the best deal is to wait for Black Friday sales. Upgrades from ANY version of V Collection to the latest have been $99.

I always hated the T-Rex/T-RackS logo. So glad they dropped it. Not sure what marketing genius thought that was a good idea! I think I read a while back about the name "IK Multimedia" but don't remember the story there - thought I was buying CD-ROM authoring tools not plugins! 😂 I get the IK part, but "Multimedia" threw me!
-
Thanks for that - I never looked up the history that far back for T-RackS! All the "classic" plugin have been around forever. I started with T-RackS 3 in 2011 and looks like I registered Amplitube 1.0LE in 2008! (Think it was bundled with the Digidesign Mbox 2 Mini.) Even bought the T-RackS book ages ago... https://www.amazon.com/Mixing-Mastering-IK-Multimedia-T-RackS/dp/1435457595

No, regular VST/AU plugin.

Seems I got this free a while ago and never installed it so checked it out. Pretty clunky interface if using a trackpad. Might be more useful with a mouse, but haven't tried yet. Don't think I'd choose it over what I'm using now. Would love to know if anyone IS using it.

NI should still do the Summer of Sound sale in June with 1/2 price upgrades, so doubt anything as good as that before then.
-
Just mentioning it. Mac users usually have more issues than Windows.
-
Just note that these won't be updated in the future. I shy away from freebies just for freebie sake that are end-of-life.
-
Nope... they've been doing freebies on occasion for a while now. First was to get everyone sucked in the reverb only to release a paid upgrade a little while later. But they did Finisher Neo in January. I haven't installed any of the UJAM stuff yet since I have so much other stuff.

I think if you own Vintage Vault, that helps. My buddy is seeing the $399 owning Falcon, VV3, SA4, Quadra M&H, Quadra Modular, Mosaic and a few others. So you do need to own a lot to get it lowered.
-
I also wonder if the Power Bundle deal doesn't count as much towards lowering price? I have Falcon, a few expansions, SA4 outside the Power Bundle, a few of the separate synths got as freebie, Tape Suite and the Power Bundle (Synth Anthology 4, Emulation II+, FM Suite, Program 24, PX Memories, BeatBox Anthology 2, 8-Bit Synth, Drum Designer, Austrian Grand piano, Augmented Orchestra, Meteor, Quadra: Muted and Harmonics, Scratch Machine, Dual Delay X, Sparkverb and Shade) UPDATE: I'm pretty sure it counts the same, just need to own a lot to bring the price down enough for "no-brainer" pricing.
