  8. I don't do much visual stuff anymore. Did some brochures for work etc and we use to have advertisements in several magazines but alas those all went to the internet now. But I still like to dabble in the visual media for myself.
  9. Hear we are talking about bunnies and you have to "Let out the Dogs" ?
  10. I didn't use Corel Draw for a few years and my daughter wanted to do some fire, ice storms, lightning in text and I had to google how to do it. The new version I installed but only used a little changed so much from the old copy I had. Sort of like Cakewalk here if you don't use the program for a while you scratch your head on how to do stuff you knew how to do in the past.
  11. Wow I think I'm going to have to take these Affinity Programs for a Spin. Thanks for pointing these out.
  12. I'm thinking the same thing for in 2 years what will Intel/AMD have come up with. Right now you have AMD with a 16 core/32thread chip for the main stream desktop.
  13. Remember Windows is also doing the ARM thing also. I think there is need for both X86 and ARM. If I was a road warrior and needed office type apps the Windows on ARM computer with 5G would be nice to have. But for my traditional needs I still would rather have a X86 system. I thinking here what AMD has done lately and with TSMC going 5nm the future looks bright for X86 too. The new AMD Ryzen 4500U and 4700U chips for only 15watts laptops are really good. Now they need to get them in some premium laptops.
  14. I have 2 year old copy and I haven't found a way to stop the pop-ups either. Still my wife is so use to the program I don't think we will switch. Does what we need it to do and she understands most of the basics. Plus I was a long time user of Coreldraw and I'm use to the way their software works. So if my wife can't do something on an image I usually can with Corel. But I agree that pop-ups are stupid and annoying!
  15. I think the Glasses are wearing that rabbit ?

  19. It does seem that way. Mac no more 32bit app support and they can do it and the Mac Masses will follow. Windows users not so much!
