  1. Image to sound app I wanna program that i can use with my grandkids to play with their drawings. Anybody got ideas?
  2. Thank you all for your suggestions..... Excellent. Wasn't expecting CW would do it for me. But good to know there are some tools that will make it easier,,, sorta...
  3. Thank you for this... I don't use the program enough to know everything. I have coded many CAL scripts for all kinds of stuff.... So, thought that was the way to go... Also,,, reviewing CAL commands i could not find 'split' in any form.
  4. Thank you for reminding me the 'old' control panel is still superior. Found the generic driver and uninstalled..... And bob's yer uncle. BUUTTTT:::: I should not have had to do that and waste nearly a week with support not having a clue. Thank you again. Jesse
  5. Cal to split clip at measures Anybody?
  6. I have a project recorded on a 4 track tape machine. Click track and 3 instrument tracks. It was recorded at half speed. So it is faster at speed. I want to: Use click track to align to measures. Make midi tracks from each track. Reduce the speed to about 1/4 speed for the first 2 measures. Then, increase the tempo for each measure/section until the last section is again at the current speed. Suggestions for links to learn how to: align click to measures? increase tempo per measure? Rendering: I assume I will have to export tracks/stems to apply the speed changes to the audio/midi. Guidance please
  7. How? NOt listed separately on the applications page. Uninstall Halion? Might work... I should not have to do that.... CW should provide a way to select the proper driver.
  8. Update:::: just installed Reaper... Prompted to choose hardware... Selected ASIO.... and then used the next menu to select the driver from the three installed. Why is this so hard?
  9. Did that.... selecting asio results in CW wanting to use wasapi.... Cannot select the proper driver.
  10. Just spent a week messaging support trying to fix this. They appear to not know of this issue.... "Uninstall all other audio hardware devices." Doesn't work. Not a hardware issue. It is a CW/Sonar issue. Installed Halion..... obviously with the generic low latency asio driver. Now CW will NOT work with ASIO selected. And no obvious way to select the correct ASIO driver. Every other program i use provides for selecting the correct ASIO driver.... And all work. I suggested they talk with a programmer to find-out what the CW loader refers to for this setting. No response. SO::::: Anybody have an idea what file/registry entry is CW accessing to select the generic driver? What can i change to force CW to use the correct driver? Why does CW/Sonar NOT provide a way to select which ASIO driver? This has been an issue for years. Nothing in windows applications to uninstall... Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?
  11. Yeah.... Stop using the DAW you are used to,,, and pay big bucks to prove a point of some sort....
  12. Ideas about using CW/sonar included vsts to create the Pat metheny guitar tone, from in the beginning?
