  1. Fixed it, I forgot to switch the output of each track to the speakers, whoops. I knew it was something dumb lol
  2. The only difference with this project compared to the others is it's the first time I used FX
  3. Did that and same thing. If it helps, the little bar that shows the volume level for recoding or playback isn't showing anything either.
  4. I usually record with my interface using ASIO and then when I finish, I switch it to MME 32 so I can play it through my computer speakers. Except this time, it's not working, but it does for all my other tracks. What am I missing?
  5. Thanks ??. So using the headphone jack won't damage the internals of the Scarlett like the pre amps correct? I was thinking about using an aux cable from the amp and plugging it in to the Scarlett's input with an adapter (best buy audio adapter) Amp-------(aux)------->(Adapter)->Scarlett input I just wanna make sure lol
  6. Some might say use CW's effects, but I know this amp like the back of my hand and I have multiple configurations on it already. Just trying to figure out how to set it up properly. Below is how I wanna set it up. What will I need? Guitar -> amp -> Scarlett -> PC and output speakers
  7. How do I set up my guitar and Peavy Vypyr vip 1? I don't see a signal. Here's what I tried: Guitar is connected to amp via standard guitar input, then I use an aux cable in the amp's headphone jack and connect it to the Scarlett via an jack adapter, the the Scarlett connects to my pc. I will need to buy a pair of speakers as I've been using my amp as the output lol. Where am I going wrong?
  8. EDIT: I fixed it, you can delete this thread now lol
  9. Starting a new thread to explain the situation better. Cakewalk and my interface both recognize my dynamic mic, it plays thru my amp just fine, I can see the volume level and waveforms just fine, but when want to listen to my recording, there is no sound. I checked my volumes and stuff. I don't have this problem when recording line device (electric guitar), only mic.
  10. When I try to listen to my recording, there's no sound. I can hear the mic just fine otherwise and I see the sound waves on the track so I know it's picking it up. Maybe I didn't configure something? It's just a basic mic from the Proline Mic Pack. I'm using a Scarlett solo 4th gen (recent b-day gift ?) and my guitar amp as my output until I find the jack adapter for my headset lol
  11. UPDATE: I got a 4th gen Scarlett solo for my birthday :D. Latency is non existent and the sound is amazing! I just gotta learn out the settings and stuff now.
  12. Nothing too crazy, I'm only gonna use two lines: a mic and a regular guitar cable. I'm not gonna use both the guitar and mic at the same time however. My computer is a Dell Inspiron 7415 2 in 1 if you need pc specs/compatibility.
  13. About to get my first one. Found this interface that suits my budget, but I'm not sure of the compatibility with Cakewalk. I'm only gonna use a mic and one line for my guitar. And this should solve my latency issue right? https://www.amazon.com/M-Audio-M-Track-Solo-Interface-Podcasting/dp/B08Q1NJSBQ/ref=asc_df_B08Q1NJSBQ/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475874092271&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=11393675153777173281&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9052410&hvtargid=pla-1147112908967&mcid=a82d0c0a612a398aa7cbffe2a6ff66de&gclid=Cj0KCQiAsvWrBhC0ARIsAO4E6f8Him6kHNRpfVkjHaC0fSum8AvpFhKELS8no9jpWlqNYD_XFDn3KWoaAqiwEALw_wcB&th=1
  14. Any suggestions for one under $50? I'm not going into recording professionally atm, if I do, I'll invest in a high end one.
