I have been using Cakewalk Sonar X1 since it came out however many years ago it was. First I used it in WIN 7 then I switched to WIN 10. It worked great for me. I decided to upgrade to WIN 11 and now it won't launch. I know that the first answer is for me to upgrade to a DAW. But I'm an old dog, and don't really want to learn new tricks. Anyway, When I try to open it , it starts for a few seconds scanning the VST's but disappears before the program actually starts. And that's it. As suggested, I've tried deleting and reinstalling the redistribution C+ files several times with no success. Any ideas so I can just get back to recording instead of trying to be a tech wiz?
