  1. Thanks, does that mean the Bell is a Windows issue and not sonar? I guess I meant how often I save my edits after a certain number of changes. It's not in front of me right now so I forget exactly what it's called. Actually I have one more question and I was just about to edit my original post, sonar keeps looking in the wrong directory to load FX chain presets. Is there a way to set it to the right directory for future projects?
  2. Still getting used to the new computer as well as various sonar updates. How do I stop ringing bell sound when I bounce tracks? Also I set my backup preferences but it seems to be very slow in the process, is that normal? Thanks.
  3. I don't see an option for the Use Per-Project Audio Folders checkbox in preferences/file/audio data. Am I missing something? Thanks
  4. new computer & insatllation... I keep getting this pop-up multiple times on startup, even though I've uninstalled the vst. Any way to fix this? Thanks.
  5. I just noticed it's sitting there, can I free up some space safely by deleting it? Just not sure about shared plugins with sonar. Thank you.
  6. Thanks again everyone, I do have the old computer and we'll see what I can do with that. Good idea to search for cwp files
  7. Thanks for all of your replies. It's a new computer with a new hard drive, I had a computer shop do the transfer for me. So they should have copied all of my personal files like music and pictures to the new computer. Maybe they're there but I just can't find them and neither can sonar. I just remembered I do have a backup so maybe I can move the latest backup project files over to the new computer, that would be a simple fix. I've just been overwhelmed because Windows 11's looks so much different from Windows 10 to my eyes, at least the file structure. I do have a download folder for plugins but didn't keep track of authorization numbers. Most of them are small and many of them free. Thanks again for your interest
  8. I was dreading this for a long time but I finally had to do it. I can't find all of my projects in window 11, they're certainly not in the same file system as before. I did a search for one and nothing turned up. A second question is if I ever get this straightened out, all of those plugins or most of them need to be reinstalled. At this point I'm thinking of simplifying and just choosing the few that are most useful. Any advice on finding the projects or on how you handle all of those plugins we've acquired over the years? Thank you
  9. msmcleod good tip about the track manager, I never even noticed it before.
  10. Thanks for the replies, it wasn't entire tracks that were missing just several measures within tracks. The files before and after the missing space we're intact. Good shortcut about the track manager also, thanks
