groove monkee Groove Monkee Rock MIDI Drum Pack - Get 25% off
BassDaddy replied to Scott R. Garrigus's topic in Deals
Good Loops. Groove Monkey gives you a lot of them with a pack. Four to five times as many or more(compared to Toontrack and LoopLoft). At under $9.00 a pack. I have all five and like them and use them a lot. -
me too. Way more than worth it.
-
I agree with Fleersy on those 3. Great price. If you are ever going to get them...
-
Jj I believe Emily Latella said "nevermind" "what's all this talk about endangered feces?" Both were Guilda, for sure.
-
The good ol' days.
-
I agree with BW. They are not visually stunning. But there is noting wrong with them either. If you had a real synth like that you would say it was intuitive.
-
Don't tell anybody what? Do you mean, THE UBIQUITOUS IK GUY BOUGHT A STINK LOAD OF CANADIAN, AAS HOCKEY PUCK PACKS? Your secret is safe with me.
-
Correct me if I'm wrong , but are you saying it was Fleers fault you let your gas out? Yeah, thanks Fleer.

Everyone knows the Monks didn't use plugins in the Middle Ages. They had rack gear. And candles. Lots of candles.

What did I just read? WTF!!? (what the Fleer)

IK Multimedia Introduces MODO DRUM - Modeled Drums

I didn't consider the storage space issue. It would sure be an advantage on a laptop. If I recall, SD3 was over 250GB. -
Was Flutes of Fire a Loop Loft April Fools dealeo? No, wait a minute. I read about that in Boys Life. It's the latest STD imported from Western Europe.
-
"and Aztec Death Whistle. " Is that a real thing or did you just put that in to see if we were paying attention?

IK Multimedia Introduces MODO DRUM - Modeled Drums

I'm not coming in quite as hot as Lars but... I have made my choice with SD3, EZD2, and all the Native Instruments Drums (Best one is Abbey Road 50's). Even if this sounds great I can't see going for it. I hope IK does well with this but I can't see many "old timers" getting hot for this. If this beats SD3 and BFD and the others I will admit I was wrong. BFD fans love it and I think SD3 is one of the best things to come out in the last 4 years or so, maybe ever. I dont see how it will compete with them so it will have to carve out its own spot. It may be aimed at a different demographic than the old farts that that make up a large part of the people who hang around here. I'm actually a bit puzzled by this move. -
my 250 GB of the same model cost more than that a little over 2 gears ago.

I had a Roland VS-2480 and Roland bought Cakewalk. I thought they would have some interaction or something similar but it never really happened. I bought SONAR 7 at Guitar Center on a Presidents Day sale. It might have been more that everytime I search for how to do something I would get sent to the Cakewalk Forum. It was the most helpful place on the internet back then.

Dumbest song title ever. "Fleer, you're so above average"
-
If they were paying any attention at all could a pricing screw up like t hat happen?
-
Attn: a M*A*S*H* joke has been seen in the area. Keep the women and children indoors. P.S. "Frank, you're so above average!"
-
I have a six pack too. I'm going to need fat penetrating radar to prove it though.
-
I don't want to be within 50 nautical miles, when that thing deflates!
-
Yes, thank you Lawrence.
-
Both useful but not interchangeable.

I'll have to check out the Japanese midi. I like what I played around with but didn't notice those. Thanks Glyn.
