  1. I wanted to log on and let you know that I installed the vst2 version of the plugin and it looks like everything is working now. -- Thank you for the reply you were on the right path ! John
  2. Hello Noel This happens in both sonar and cakewalk I have a instance of Vienna Ensemble Pro set up in in cakewalk so that all of the VEP outputs go to individual tracks in cakewalk/sonar. When I open the saved cakewalk file or template which has this VEP setting in the synth rack. I get a message that says "Plugin not found"
  3. Hello I have an issue where my Vienna Ensemble Pro instruments that I opened with the synth rack ( So that I can have multiple outputs into cakewalk) will not open in sonar. It simply will not connect to Vienna Ensemble Pro. All other VEP instances that are just in the Effects rack will but not the synth rack. Any suggestions on where to start?
  4. Hello I wanted to do a null test to hear the difference / artifacts in a plugin when it is over sampled in cakewalk and when it has not been oversampled in cakewalk. I did this and flipped the phase - it does not work. I believe because it is not sample accurate. Do you guys have any insight into why this would not be working? Thank you John
  5. Hello Thank you that worked. What I find odd is that in the scan log that I had been generating before doing a VST reset the plugin was listed. It just was not showing up. is doing a VST reset kind of like clearing the cache folder? John
  6. Hello I am sure this has been discussed. If so please do help me find the topic in the forum. I have installed some new plugin alliance plugins. The vst3 plugins are in the correct folder and when I first installed them cakewalk noticed them in the initial scan, but that was it. I did this with the online installer. I tried doing this with the offline installer as well since this is generally an offline daw. - Plugins still do not show up in cakewalk. I wonder if I need to clean the registry to force cakewalk to notice the vst3 files again? I did try installing these plugins on a different machine with cakewalk and it worked great. Thank you John
  7. Looks as though it is a RAM issue or cache or something of the sort. I have saved the project with just the drums ( no other vst) and it is freezing properly at the moment. Volume level in Sonar does not affect what level the track is printed at does it? I know I should just do my own test to figure this out but I thought I would ask in case someone has done a few tests
  8. In the past I had no issues freezing tracks for Software synths that were hosted inside of Vienna Ensemble Pro. I would simply freeze the track and with Slate Drums everything would freeze on the correct track/ Multi Output. Any tips on what I should be looking for to make this work with my current setup with superior drummer 3 ? I click the freeze button and nothing happens at all. Thank you John
