  1. Windows 10....32 Ram and Motu Audio Interface
  2. Hello All: I'm having an issue when Recording and Playback. I'm getting broken up sounds here and there. Both my audio interface and buffer size within Sonar was set to 128. Then, I set them to 256. Same issue. Could someone with more experience than me give me some guidance? Thanks
  3. When I start a track, I'll insert EZdrummer and stretch it out (groove clip looping) longer than I'll need to be safe. Once I'm done recording, I'll then delete the leftover drum track at the end. I'll then mix everything and export it out to my PC desktop in a wave file. I'll then import it back in as a stereo track (after my initial mixdown). I'll apply a mastering plugin and do the final touches at the end of the track. I notice that even though I deleted the drums at the end of the track, there is this 2 line (what I call) drum residue. I'll then delete that and all is good. Sometimes when I go to delete the unused drums, I find the groove clip looping has taken the drum track MUCH farther than I initially set it. Anyone have any experience with this? And, why does it happen? Thanks
  4. Well: I found it. It was loaded within the Virtual Instruments tab under strings and not in the FX tab. Oh Well...learn something new every day. Thanks to all of your for your time.
  5. Its listed in the plugin layout manager. I then add it to my plugins. But nothing shows up when trying to load it on a track. I've just reinstalled it and still nothing. The plugin is Kontakt. It was there before, then it went away for some reason.
  6. Let me trying to say it this way: I added an audio track I'm trying to ad an FX. I then go under "Guitar" to add a certain FX. Its not there I then go to Plugin Layout Manager I select the plugin I want and Add it to the Plugin Menu Layout. Then, I save it I then go back to my track and try to add this plugin. Its NOT there. Even after I saved it in the Plugin Menu Layout why is this happening? I'll bet its user error, but I can't figure this one out.
  7. The issue is not on the Track screen. Its on the Manage Plugin screen. Its not saving it where I can use it on the Track screen.
  8. Yes I did. It shows up in the list where I can add the plugin. It slows it added, but doesn't appear on the track page where I can add it to a track. Confusing to me.
  9. Hello: I'm trying to get this one plugin to show up on my list. I've gone in to the Plugin Manager and added it....saved it. Went back to my track screen to select it, but it doesn't show as an option under "guitar" which is where I placed and saved it. Anyone had this issue? Appreciated any suggestions. Thanks
  10. Thanks: I did come across the nudge function but I just don't understand those numbers I suppose.
  11. Hello: Just playing around, I recorded a couple of tracks without drums because I couldn't fine the right track in EZdrummer that I wanted. I finally found a good drum track and inserted. However I couldn't line up the drum track just right. Question: How can I nudge the drum track in smaller increments? Thanks
  12. I will do that...thanks ! !
  13. I installed the new update and after that, I had audio drop outs. Error Code 18. Any ideas? I've reinstalled my Focusrite drivers, etc. Nothing helps.
  14. Anyone use a Pre Amp before your Audio Interface? If so, which one did you choose? Thanks
  15. I currently use the Bass Amp in Guitar Rig 5. It does a decent job but I'm wondering if there is anything better you've found. thanks
  16. I solved my issue. Thanks for looking
  17. A question for you more experienced users of Sonar 2025. When I start an empty or any new project, the Pro Channel is loaded for that track by default. I then blast it away so I can select the Input channel of my Audio Interface. Isn't it common knowledge the Audio Interface Input needs to be selected first and not the Pro Channel. Or, am I missing something? Thanks
  18. So, should I pick up a pre amp? If so, which one?
  19. Thanks for the help: As recommended, I lowered the bridge pickup away from the strings a bit....and.....IT Helped ! ! Certainly cheaper than having to buy another interface.
  20. Thanks for your reply. Shouldn't the input be able to handle humbuckers? This was also a problem on V3 and V2. I'm about ready to buy something more expensive but don't know which way to go yet.
  21. My input is clipping when using my SG with classic 57 pickups. While rocking the top two strings (E and A) it always goes in the Red. I've turned down the gain all the way. I've used the Auto and Safe modes. No change. Anyone else experienced this? Are these inputs really this weak? Thanks
  22. Seems right. Where do I find the Synth Rack?
