  1. Sad topic, fun track! I like happy vibe blues patterns. Great solos in this bty. Are those detailed notes from wiki? Let's you take a deep dive into the subject at hand. The sun will expand an expire in 6 billions years. So enjoy the ride now!
  2. One of my fav Beatles songs and this cover is amazing!
  3. Sophisticated song writing and pro mixing/mastering shows off Cakewalk's capabilities in top form! I like the sophisticated music in this over the lyics. The real sax player in the very slick bridge sections really make this piece a great listen!
  4. Great song and the lyrics are too good not to post! You kept a mystery of what exactly happened and that's good. Pro guitar work and so is vocal. You can hold those long chorus notes vocally really great! Nice work.

    Road Trip

I really like music like this with acoustic and strings. This piece makes you want to go places in a nice ride. I have the NI plucked Nylon but haven't used it yet. Enjoyed this.

    Simmer

So warm and nice. Another classic I will put in rotation. And first time flute is excellent. Even though you post only every 1 month or so, do make more! I await each new piece!

    Freedom

A masterpiece of American acoustic folk! Not sure why you picked ambient genre on SC? Whatever, this is my new favorite!
  8. Wow, another great track. Who is writing and singing these songs? They belong on the radio!

    Free

Dig it! Especially the elect piano! I'm first to listen to Still- nice piano solo. I like the piano solo in Modo more however- it's a classic. And thanks for reposting my Retro Kind of Mood, brought in many listeners.
  10. WHEN THEY BUILT CATHEDRALS It doesn't happen very often when the world is in awe of a rebuilt cathedral. But that's what happened this year with the completion of the restoring of Notre Dame cathedral. Inspiring the world with it's beauty and craftsmanship. So happens I wrote a piece in 2007 about the awesomeness of cathedrals and even posted it here. Inspired by the restoration I felt an urge to restore my original track, with better instruments and better remix. The original was made on my Yamaha (or Roland) keyboard workstation. This remake is all Sample Tank 4 for the first 4 minutes. Then the 2007 track is mixed in with ST4 to the end. First made in 2007 Sonar, restored in CWBL This work is in passacaliga form (a repeating bass line with variations on top). Terry Fry wrote the repeating bass line and asked me to write music on top. Be a little careful as it has a wide dynamic range and deep sub in some sections. Hope you enjoy. Comments welcome. Have a great Christmas, and happy New Year!

    Mellow

Very mellow in mood and creates a calm soul. Always like the solo breaks and change ups. Your music reminds me of Steely Dan with creative chords and laid back but restless style. Thanks for comment on new piece on SC.
  12. Fantastic song writing and production. Every element fits together, nothing sticks out as unnecessary or missing. I also like how the verse starts on a minor chord and ends a phrase on a major chord. Something I don't hear very often. I like how the mix kinda hides the chord and I can't tell if a chord passing is minor or major. I like that a lot.

    Heart

Nice work creating today's pop sound! I could hear this playing on my #1 hits local FM radio station. I like it even better than many pop hits today. Keep up the good work!
  14. Great playing! Dig the instrument interplay and offbeat chords and rhythms.
