Toontrack Holiday Deal Week - Day 1 EZkeys Classic Electrics Rhodes and Wurlitzer Plugin

The Toontrack keys sound very present to me. I like that. You can still mix them back if you want. The old Native Instruments electrics sounded less present or not as loud.

If you dont have any electrics you really like, these would be a good buy at the price. LL is modeled and these are sampled, Mesh. I really like LL and AAS  stuff in general.  That's hard to compare those 2. I still use Lounge Lizard Session but I get temped every Christmas to take the $49 plunge for the upgrade.

I've got a fee free credit card, so no PayPal loading for me.

I have a credit card that has no surcharge for foreign currency transactions, and which simply applies the MasterCard rate, stored in my PayPal account. I pay with PayPal but use that card in the original currency to make the payment. Saves a lot of money, especially now that PayPal's currency charges are so unreasonable.

Not to get off topic here, but I have generated midi chord progressions and melody lines with midi generating programs, then took that and brought it into EZ Keys and have had excellent results. EZ Keys gives the generated midi a real human feel to it.

So if you don't have EZkeys yet, this deal is a excellent way to get this great EZ midi engine into your tool box.

EzKeys has become one of my Desert Island apps.

I used it for a while without really appreciating all of the subtleties and then stumbled across this Eli Krantzberg video on Groove3....

https://www.groove3.com/tutorials/Songwriting-with-EZKeys

He also does an EzKeys Explained video https://www.groove3.com/tutorials/ezkeys-explained

Plus there's the video series from Luke Oswald on Songwriting and Producing with specific add-ons e.g. https://www.groove3.com/tutorials/Songwriting-and-Producing-with-Toontrack-Neo-Soul

For anyone without a Groove3 pass there's an extract from the first of Eli's videos on YouTube  --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WnTp3Yc74yU

and Luke's --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rpdQEaZQPzw

Totally agree with @ZincT

I was a bit snooty about ezkeys, cos I is a proper musician and all that - the name and the idea of dumbing down put me off.   But I bought it recently as a shortcut to doing some piano parts.  It's really, really good......and at that price !!! I think that's the most useful pack too.  You can always use that to trigger your existing sounds too.  Win/Win

plus I got the groove3 subscription as part of the izotope deal earlier this year - very useful.  I'm not sure if I'll renew when it runs out but the videos are very good.
