Nothing better than Celemony Melodyne 4.

I have not yet used even once, my Melodyne Assistant, but always believe I will, eventually.   Primarily, I'm an instrumentalist.

Currently I can upgrade it to Editor for $99, which I can spare easily enough.  But given what I have just written, I really don't know the positives to having Editor.

Can you, or anybody, give me suggestive reasons for upgrading to Editor since I suspect that when I get around to vocal recording, clearly it would be one track and voice at a time for which my existing Assistant would be more than good enough to do the work.  Am I correct?

Thanks for any replies.

Actually I have "Studio", which for me is total "overkill". However, I was doing a cover of "oh Darlin" and was able to change one of the "stabs" to a 7th chord to move from the I to the IV. Pretty cool! But trying to pull one bad note out of a chord, not so much, evidently the "harmonics" were the issue; that and my lack of experience using the software...
