MorganT 2 Posted November 2, 2019 Anyone out there using Cakewalk on an iMac with Bootcamp or similar OS partitioning? If so, are you having any trouble with drivers, etc? I'm a Mac person but have stuck with a single music PC for years now because I loved Sonar / Cakewalk, and don't want to change DAW's. But I am considering repurposing an iMac solely as my music computer, and running Windows 10 via Bootcamp. Just want to see if anyone else is doing this without any undue issues before I start down this road.

Jon L. Jacobi 16 Posted November 5, 2019 (edited) Windows on a Mac works just like... Windows. I run Windows on my 2015 iMac 90% of the time and Cakewalk is fine. Edited November 5, 2019 by Jon L. Jacobi
Justin Broad 6 Posted November 5, 2019 All the plugins I have work, and behave just as the do on my Dell that is also running windows
Keni 92 Posted November 5, 2019 I too run win8.1 under bootcamp on a 2010 mac pro. I don't use it as a mac... boots directly to windows and everything works fine. All plugins run as expected.
