I almost always pay in original currency when using PayPal, passing the conversion rate to my credit card company (which is slightly cheaper). Matthew Sorrels Posted September 26, 2019 Share Posted September 26, 2019 Paypal has recently changed their foreign transaction fee structure. https://www.ecommercebytes.com/2019/08/02/paypal-charges-more-by-raising-currency-conversion-spread/ Credit card companies can also tack on fees if you choose to use them through Paypal for the conversion. antler Posted September 26, 2019 Share Posted September 26, 2019 Both Mastercard and Visa have an online currency conversion tool that also accounts for a x% transaction fee.
