While not the designed usage for AXE I/O and I'm not sure about your RME, ASIO4ALL would help you link the AXE I/O with other (WDM) audio interfaces  devices. Mac handles aggregate devices a little better than Windows in this aspect via the Audio MIDI Set Up in Utilities, but I hope this info helps.

Hmmmm. Not that I *need* it but I do have $55 in jam points bringing it down to $244.99.

I just wish it could be used simultaneously with my RME in ASIO mode. IIRC it uses its own proprietary drivers (Mesh knows better than I on this).

I'm also not sure about RME, but what Ryan said works. I wanted to jam along with YT vids and found this FAQ in setting it up here: https://www.ikmultimedia.com/faq/index.php?id=1236

BTW, congrats on getting this.....I think you'll love it! (Alembic compatible too ;) )

The interest is still there.  They are still probably some of the best
plugins on the market.  But I'm a hobbyist...a guitarist by trade, and
someone who might actually MAKE money doing this could better benefit
from it, and I'm all for that!  I can do what I do with far less...so
it's a win-win IMO.

A guy on this forum said probably Arturia's plugins can be even better ;)

Your tactics has this big advantage you can do solid testing in real use and be familiar with it before re-sell it :)

I was quoting from a "reviewer" on YouTube Piotr....not from my personal opinion.  I guess
I should have made that clear when I posted it.  But, as the saying goes, opinions are like sphincters,
everybody has one!  😜

I take anything what is for Arturia (even anonymous YTber's video) as I have bought their next 3 things they claim I will use  and need desperately to convince myself I am still sane in my decisions ;)

In addition to that, I've previously heard another line of thought; if you have more than one, something's probably quite wrong 😜

After installing the driver software, the firmware updater stated
that Firmware Version 1.02 was installed and 1.04 was available.
Update was simple.  After that, everything is great!  I'll need a
little more time to make a good evaluation, but initial impressions
just on a few Amps is NICE!

Neglected to mention, the Pre's are CLEAN,
and the adjustments are nice.  The variable
Z-Tone is BONUS!  Being able to select Active
or Passive pickups is a very nice feature!

Not fond of the Plastic Sides...but they're pretty
Heavy Duty, so it's ok.

Will play some more later...have to go visit my Brother
in Rehab for a bit...but initial impressions are favorable!
