The Ballad Of Bonnie And Clyde - Georgie Fame (whose real name is Clive Powell)

Just listened to this and discovered that even though I hadn't heard it in decades, I still don't like it.  Surprised that you didn't post a song with a groovy sax part, like "Yeh, Yeh" (live version) or the studio version.

Fame's single “Yeh Yeh” not only became his first hit, but it soared all the way to the top of the UK charts. Most of his new fans probably didn't know the unusual origins of the song, however. “Yeh Yeh” started out as an instrumental on the 1963 album Watermelon Man!

Georgie Fame's version doesn't tie in with the current song.

But maybe this version does (since its an instrumental)?

Or this one?

to add the Mongo Santamaria instrumental of "Yeh Yeh"

I like "Yeh, Yeh" much better, but I thought "Bonnie & Clyde" worked better with "Derek & Clive".

I liked the double association.
