Dump request macro

Trying to save and load patches from Korg M1 using cakewalk. Nothing happens on the M1 when Sysex sends files to M1. ( these come from old cakewalk files that used to work). Also DRM from Cakewalk does nothing. However I can initiate a dump request from the keyboard.

check all the instrument settings and they are ok. MIDI links also all ok. I can send a patch change as an event in a midi track and that works, so assume all setting and cables all correct.

I have tried to edit the TTsx.ini file as suggested in the Cakewalk help but nothing seems to make a difference. Any clues what is wrong with the DRM ?

Sending the DRM from Cakewalk should be asking for a channel number. That number needs to match a global setting in your M1. I can't find my old M1 manual just now, but is it possible the channel number is 1-16 in the global setting but 0-15 in the DRM dialog...

Same consideration when sending a sysex dump; the channel number in that sysex needs to match the M1 setting.
