Piano Roll Highlighted Cursor?

Hi, maybe an easy question (?) but I'm curious if I can turn off the highlighted cursor feature in the piano roll. When I move the cursor into the piano roll, whatever note I am on, it highlights the whole note from left to right. i just find it distracting and I know it wasn't there in previous versions. For example, in the attached image below, my cursor is hovering over A3. Any help would be appreciated, thanks

The highlight  in the PRV is part of the Aim Assist function, the vertical line that follows your cursor. I am not aware that it's possible to disable the highlight other than by toggling off Aim Assist (shortcut X).
