Audio quality changes when exporting song from mastering

Hi, for some reason when I export an audio file from either Bandlab or GarageBand to my iPhone, I'm not sure if it either automatically compresses the audio or what, but it changes the audio quality for the worse. I've tried exporting the file as a wav, changing my settings to Lossless in the music settings, I've tried changing my setting on GarageBand and even changing the mix and it doesn't seem to do the trick. What's even weirder is sending the file as a message to someone doesn't change the audio quality but downloading it does. If anyone has had this same issue and knows a workaround, let me know!
