Recording tracks using the Arrangement

Hello peepz,

Does anyone if it is possible for me to record tracks using the Arrangement tab (see pic) as I only want to record those specific song parts?

Tried it but only got 2 choices, pressing the play button from the Arrangement is simply playing the choices I made but not allowing me to record and the second, is the normal recording process where I have to record the entire song parts.

Pretty sure you can't do any recording on that tab. Have you tried punch in/punch out in the main track pane?

Generally the arranger tracks are for after you have parts recorded to move them around and "re-arrange".  To record just a section, click on the section and it should select the time region of the arranger section. Then enable punch-in for that selection.

Click on the section you want to record to... The transport should advance to that section... Set up either Loop points or Punch points at the boundary of that section and arm your tracks you want to record to and record as normal...
